Our first office was located in Central Square, Cambridge, a vibrant and diverse multicultural neighborhood midway between Harvard and MIT. We adopted our street address as the name for our new firm because we liked how simple and straightforward it was. That’s how we wanted our work to be, too: unpretentious, low-ego and friendly.

At Main Street we create dynamic experiences and environments for a wide range of corporate and public sector clients, including zoos, aquariums and botanic gardens, visitor centers and museums, and nature centers and wildlife reserves. We offer strategic planning and interpretive master planning, research and content development, three-dimensional and graphic design, text writing and editing, signage and environmental graphics, and project management and construction administration.
